To complete the International Studies Foreign Language requirement using intensive course work:
- CHINESE: If initial placement is CHIN-112, student must complete CHIN-112 & CHIN-113 and earn a “C” in both courses.
- If initial placement is CHIN-212, student must complete CHIN-212 & CHIN-213 and earn a “C” in both courses.
- JAPANESE: If initial placement is JAPN-114, student must complete JAPN-114 & JAPN-115 and earn a “C” in both courses.
- If initial placement is JAPN-214, student must complete JAPN-214 & JAPN-215 and earn a “C” in both courses.
- RUSSIAN: If initial placement is RUSS-144, student must complete RUSS-144 & RUSS-145 and earn a “C” in both courses.
- If initial placement is RUSS-244, student must complete RUSS-244 & RUSS-245 and earn a “C” in both courses.
To complete the International Studies Foreign Language requirement using non-intensive course work:
- FRENCH: Student must complete FREN-223 or above with “C” or better.
- ITALIAN: Student must complete ITAL-219 or above with “C” or better.
- GERMAN: Student must complete GERM-233 or above with “C” or better.
- SPANISH: Student must complete SPAN-253 or above with “C” or better.
- ARABIC: Student must complete ARAB-203 or above with “C” or better.
- HEBREW: Student must complete HEBR-217 or above with “C” or better.
