Professor Joshua Goldstein teaches and has written extensively on international military and economic relations. He has been recognized for outstanding research by the International Studies Association, the University of Southern California, and has received outstanding teaching awards. He is a leading international relations theorist with publications in the American Political Science Review, Journal of Conflict Resolution and International Studies Quarterly. Goldstein's most recent book is War and Gender: How Gender Shapes the War System and Vice Versa (Cambridge University Press 2001).
