OVERVIEW
The Peacebuilding & Development Institute (PDI) is partnering with The Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding to offer a one-day hands-on training program on the subject of Religion and Conflict Resolution. The course will provide students and practitioners with an understanding of religion's role in conflict resolution and the skills necessary to build peace in religious communities.
ABOUT THE TRAINING PROGRAM:
Professional
trainers from the Tanenbaum Center will train participants to apply the
best practices of interreligious peacemaking to the context of their own
work. Participants will explore relevant case studies from the Tanenbaum
Center's network of religious peacemakers in Northern Ireland, South Africa,
Afghanistan, and a dozen other countries around the world.
