Guidelines for Faculty

Swords & Ploughshares is the official international affairs journal of the School of International Service and we are looking forward to a great year with a new interactive website and great articles for each of our two issues. Our mission is to provide SIS graduate students with the opportunity to publish in a peer reviewed student publication.

Professors are encouraged to mention publishing with the journal to students who display a talent for writing and a firm grasp of concepts. Our editorial staff will work with any length and any topic.

Publishing is a great way to build an academic foundation:

· Publishing an SRP or thesis is a terrific academic and professional accomplishment worthy of mention on their resume or CV.

· Successfully completing the editing process is a great experience for those interested in getting published or in further study at the Doctorate level.

· Their work will be indexed with journal subscribers at other universities as well as on our website with a dedicated webpage.
