Miguel Vieira
Executive Editor, Master of Arts '09,
Miguel is a second year MA candidate in the International Politics
program. His studies focus primarily on asymmetric warfare and the
political viability of modern non-state terrorism. He graduated from
Rutgers University in 2005 with a degree in History and Political
Science.
His experience includes a stint on Capitol Hill and campaign
coordination in his native New Jersey. He recently served as a senator
on the Graduate Student Council.

James Kuykendall
Assistant Editor, Master of Arts '09
James is a second year Masters student studying International Politics and Transatlantic Relations at SIS. Previously, he studied conflict and international relations in Belfast, Northern Ireland and the European Union in Brussels, Belgium. James has also worked for the US Embassy in Ottawa, Canada and the US Mission to NATO in Brussels and is currently working for the office of Western European Affairs at the State Department in Washington D.C. James earned a BA in political science from John Brown University.

Emma Whyte
Senior Copy Editor, Master of Arts '09
Emma is a second-year Masters student in the School of International Service, studying Comparative and Regional Studies and focusing on the region of Russia, Eastern Europe and Eurasia. Her research interests include post-communist economic transition, Russian foreign policy, and democratisation and non-democratic regimes. She is also currently working on her Master's thesis, a study of non-democratic regimes in resource rich states around the world.
