Current Operating Status in Light of COVID-19
American University is closely monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation in the United States and around the world, and taking all necessary steps to protect the health and wellbeing of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors. On March 12, AU announced that all spring sesmester classes will be online for the remainder of the semester. In response to the continued spread of COVID-19 and university’s announcement, the Office of Enrollment is cancelling all on campus visits until at least May 5. Given these uncertain times, we recommend students and families wait until registration for visits and events are live before making any travel plans. We apologize for the inconvenience, but our top priority is to support the health and wellbeing of our community and visitors.
